During the recently-concluded Women’s Premier League (WPL) auction in 2023, UP Warriorz made a total of 16 player signings. The UP Warriorz Womens team has enlisted the several overseas players for the upcoming WPL 2023. The roster includes Alyssa Healy, a wicketkeeper-batter who has won multiple World Cups and was bought for INR 70 lakh. Sophie Ecclestone, the top-ranked spinner in the world, was signed for INR 1.80 crores. The team also acquired the services of Grace Harris, a dynamic batting all-rounder, for INR 75 lakhs. Additionally, they secured the middle-order batting skills of Tahlia McGrath for INR 1 crore, while Proteas bolter Shabnim Ismail and young English pacer Lauren Bell were both bought for INR 1 crore and INR 30 lakhs, respectively.
