RCB Team Captain: In 2022 IPL mega auction, RCB signed Faf du Plessis for ₹7 crores, making him the captain of the franchise. The team’s performance improved significantly, reaching qualifier-2, their best since the 2016 edition.

Recently, Faf was the captain of Johannesburg Super Kings in the first edition of SA20, where he scored 369 runs with an average of 41 and a strike rate of 147. With Faf at the top of the order, the rest of the batting lineup can play their natural games with a free mindset.

RCB Team 2023 Released Players

RCB Team may choose to release some players and search for back-up players instead of releasing players from its core group. RCB’s performance has steadily improved year after year.
